About This Pack
The Ember Souls Animated Rank XP Overlay is a viewer rank and XP widget for Twitch that turns chat activity into levels, ranks, and leaderboard spots. Every message, follow, sub, raid, and cheer feeds XP into the system, so your regulars watch their name climb in real time. I built it around a warm ember glow — amber light, drifting particles, a slow-rotating frame — because progression should feel like part of the scene, not a spreadsheet bolted onto it.
Ember Souls is an animated rank and XP overlay built for StreamElements, with full Twitch, 7TV, and BTTV support baked in. It tracks XP from six event types — chat messages, follows, subs, raids, cheers, and gift subs — and moves viewers through 16 ranks spread across 6 tiers, from Netlink up to Singularity. The overlay itself is a single glowing panel: a rotating amber frame, a viewer's real Twitch avatar inside a particle ring, their current rank and tier, a level number, and an animated XP bar showing progress toward the next rank. Level-ups and rank-ups each trigger their own popup, and a live leaderboard lets viewers see who's closest to the top. Five chat commands — !rank, !xp, !level, !leaderboard, and !daily — let viewers check their own progress without leaving chat, and every command's permission level is yours to set.
Every color is yours to change: accent and rare-rank colors, the border, text highlights, and the background gradient all update instantly, plus 37 preset themes if you'd rather start from a ready-made look. The hand-drawn SVG icons keep their crisp glow at any size. Layout controls cover on-screen position, overall size, particle density, and border rotation speed, so the panel fits into a corner of your scene without fighting your other widgets.
Everything ships in one ZIP file with clear, step-by-step setup instructions for StreamElements. Drop it in as a browser source, connect your channel, and viewers start earning XP from their very next message — no coding, no extra software required. Because it runs as a transparent browser source, it sits cleanly over gameplay in OBS too. A Channel Points reward called XP Boost is included if you want to let viewers redeem points for double XP for a limited time.
This one's for streamers who want their chat to feel like a place people return to, not just a scrolling wall of text. If your community already shows up night after night, Ember Souls gives them a reason to keep climbing. It's a warm, amber-lit corner of your stream that feels like it was always part of the scene.
