Fang is a hand-drawn gothic Twitch chat widget where blood drips beneath every message, each name lit by real Twitch badges and a soft warm crimson glow. I built it for streamers who want their chat to feel like it belongs in a candlelit crypt. Subscriber, VIP, moderator, founder, Prime and bits badges sit beside every username. Your community still feels recognized, even under all that red light.
Fang Gothic Twitch Chat Widget is an animated StreamElements chat box built around three damask-patterned panels — Nightshade, Vesper and Mooncaller — each dripping blood from its bottom edge with every new line of chat. A fang-shaped icon marks every message, and six real Twitch badge types — subscriber, VIP, moderator, founder, Prime and bits — sit beside each name. Sub, tip, cheer, raid and follow alerts play inside the same chat feed, each with its own accent color, so a tip or a fresh subscriber stands out at a glance. Fang reads Twitch, 7TV and BTTV emotes, and includes an ignore list and hide-commands option to keep the feed clean. Install takes one click through the StreamElements widget importer, then you connect it with just your Twitch channel name — no API keys, no extra accounts. Thirty-seven settings cover side, alignment, message count, hide-after timer, entrance animation, fonts, sizes and colors, so the blood-red palette can shift to whatever shade your scene needs.
OBS reads Fang as a single browser source, and a built-in preview page lets you test chat and alerts before you go live. Every element — chat panel, badges, fonts, sizes and the drip animation itself — can be recolored to match your scene. Entrance animations, message count and a hide-after timer are all adjustable. The widget bends to your layout, not the other way around.
Fang suits dark fantasy, horror and Halloween-themed channels, and works just as well for a vtuber setup or a moody everyday scene. The license covers personal and commercial use on your own channel — please don't resell or redistribute the files. Once you own it, Fang is yours to keep, recolor and reuse across every stream you run.
I designed Fang because chat should feel like part of the story your stream is telling, not an afterthought bolted on top. Drop it into StreamElements, pick your colors, and let the blood drip.
