Ghost is a hand-drawn gothic Twitch chat widget, built for StreamElements and ready to drop into OBS as a browser source for your stream in just minutes. I designed it for streamers who want their chat to feel like a quiet, moonlit graveyard instead of a plain text box. Small ghosts sit on the curtain rail above every message and take over the scene for subscriptions, tips, and raids.

Ghost is a StreamElements chat widget that wraps every Twitch message in a hand-drawn gothic frame, topped by a small round-eyed sheet ghost. Every message sits inside a curtain-framed chat box, with the ghost perched on top of it. Two smaller ghosts join the scene for bigger moments, such as new subscriptions, cheers, and tips. Six Twitch badge types display beside each name: subscriber, VIP, moderator, founder, Prime, and bits. Five alert types are built in for sub, tip, cheer, raid, and follow, each with its own accent colour. Twitch, 7TV, and BTTV emotes render directly inside the chat feed. Thirty-seven settings cover side, alignment, message count, hide-after timer, entrance animation, fonts, sizes, and colours. A built-in preview page lets you test chat and alerts before going live, so the whole look can match any stream theme.

Installation uses the StreamElements widget importer, so Ghost connects with nothing more than your Twitch channel name. Hide specific chat commands or viewers with the built-in ignore list, and tuck the whole widget into whichever corner of your scene it fits best. Once you own it, it's yours — set it up once and it stays on your channel for every stream after, Halloween or not.

Ghost works well for horror and cozy-spooky channels alike — anyone who wants Halloween in their stream without a loud, cluttered overlay. Every colour in the widget can be swapped, so the moody violet shown here is a starting point, not a limit. I built it to feel like a small scene your chat gets to live inside, every time someone says hello.
