The Grim Marionette Halloween Spin Wheel is an animated !spin overlay with theater masks and puppet strings circling a glowing plum and magenta wheel. Viewers call it with a chat command, and every result lands with a wobbling pointer and a soft particle glow. I made it for the streamers who want their Halloween season to feel a little haunted and a lot of fun.
Grim Marionette is a Halloween spin wheel widget for Twitch, Kick and YouTube chat, built as a custom StreamElements overlay and shown in OBS through a browser source. The wheel holds up to 30 slots, and each slot carries its own weight. Rare outcomes like Jumpscare glow and pulse in their own color, while common ones like Treat or Candy land more often. Subs, gifted subs, tips and cheers all spin the wheel automatically, each with its own minimum amount you set. Chat can also trigger it with the !spin command, limited to everyone, subs, VIPs or mods. Spin time runs 2 to 10 seconds, with a cooldown between rounds, a result banner, a wobbling pointer and background particles. Six segment colors, one rare color and any Google font let you match the wheel to your own palette. You can leave the wheel on screen at all times, or keep it hidden until something spins it.
Setup is quick: download the files, add the widget as a custom StreamElements overlay, and drop the same source into OBS as a browser source. Everything else lives in the widget settings. Type in your own slot labels, up to 30 of them, and mark any as rare so they glow and pulse differently from the rest. Change the six segment colors, the rare color and the font whenever your scene gets a new look — no coding required.
Grim Marionette works for any Halloween stream that wants chat to feel part of the show, whether your vibe is horror, cozy or comedy. It's ready the moment you plug it in, and it's yours to re-skin for next October too.
I'm August, and I build each of these overlays myself — this wheel included, down to the glow on the rare slot.
