Hearse Gothic Twitch Chat Widget — Animated OBS Overlay

Hearse is a hand-drawn gothic Twitch chat widget framed in frosted glass and silver lamps, with real Twitch badges glowing beside every name in your chat. I designed it around candlelit interiors and quiet iron gates, so the chat feels like its own small scene.

Hearse is a hand-drawn gothic chat box built for StreamElements and OBS, designed around a hearse-shaped frame of frosted glass and silver lamps that holds every message like a small, lit window at night. Real Twitch badges, including subscriber, VIP, moderator, founder, Prime and bits, sit beside each name, while 7TV and BTTV emotes render alongside native Twitch emotes. Sub, tip, cheer, raid and follow alerts each carry their own accent colour, so the chat tells you who did what before you even read the words. Underneath that atmosphere sit 37 individual settings covering side, alignment, message count, hide-after timing, entrance animation, fonts, sizes and colours, plus an ignore list and command-hiding to keep the feed clean. It installs through the StreamElements widget importer and only needs your Twitch channel name to connect, with a preview page included for testing chat and alerts before you go live.

Hearse works as a standard OBS browser source, so it drops into your existing scene without any extra plugins or software. Every colour in the frame can be changed to match your channel, and the frosted-glass look stays soft even on busy nights with fast-moving chat. It's built for streamers who want their chat to feel like part of the story, not a stray text box bolted onto the stream, and it's yours to reuse on your own channel once you've got it.

If your channel leans into dark academia, horror, or just loves candlelight and old iron, Hearse is built to match that mood from the very first message. It installs in minutes, keeps every alert easy to read, and makes chat feel like part of the scene instead of an afterthought.
