Lunar Charm is a gothic, moonlit chat box widget for Twitch, wrapping every message in soft moonstone light, silver filigree, and warm gold star accents. It's built for streamers who want their chat to feel like a scene, not a sidebar. Every message sits inside a star-flecked midnight frame, bordered by moonstone phase beads and gold star corners. I designed it as a quiet, cozy corner of the screen — something viewers notice without it stealing focus from you.
Lunar Charm is an animated StreamElements chat box overlay for Twitch, wrapped in a hand-drawn gothic frame of moonstone phase beads and gold star accents. It connects using only your Twitch channel name, with no extra login required, and comes with 37 adjustable settings covering side, alignment, message count, hide-after timer, entrance animation, fonts, sizes, and colours. Real Twitch badges — subscriber, VIP, moderator, founder, Prime, and bits — sit beside each name, and emotes pull from Twitch, 7TV, and BTTV. Five alert types, sub, tip, cheer, raid, and follow, appear inside the chat feed itself, each with its own accent colour instead of a separate pop-up. An ignore list and hide-commands option keep the feed clean, and a built-in preview page lets you test chat messages and alerts before you ever go live.
Install takes about a minute. Drop the file into StreamElements through the widget importer, and the whole scene — frame, badges, and alerts — is ready to preview. It also runs as a standard OBS browser source, so it drops into any existing scene collection without extra plugins. I built Lunar Charm with 37 settings, so it never has to look like a template. Recolour the moonstone and gold accents to match your own palette, and choose which side the chat sits on. Set how long messages stay on screen, and pick from several entrance animations for new messages. Fonts, sizes, and alignment are yours to adjust too, so the widget settles into your layout instead of fighting it.
Lunar Charm suits streamers whose channel already leans gothic, dark academia, or witchy. The chat itself feels like part of the night sky instead of a plain text box.
