Mycelium is a gothic Twitch chat widget for StreamElements, built from hand-drawn glowing mushrooms, root veins, and moonlit spores around every message. I drew every mushroom to glow and breathe on screen, so the overlay feels like a living forest instead of a static box. It connects with just your Twitch channel name and drops into StreamElements through the widget importer in one click. Every message panel, badge, and alert reads clearly in the dark, so chat stays easy to follow even with the gothic styling.
Mycelium is a dark fantasy chat box overlay built around a mushroom and mycelium theme, with glowing fungi and root threads framing each message panel. The widget displays 6 Twitch badge types — subscriber, VIP, moderator, founder, Prime, and bits — beside every username, so chat context stays visible at a glance. 5 alert types are built in: sub, tip, cheer, raid, and follow, each with its own accent colour so viewers can tell them apart without reading closely. Chat pulls in emotes from 3 sources, Twitch, 7TV, and BTTV, plus an ignore list and command-hiding option to keep the feed clean. Streamers can adjust 37 settings in total, covering chat side, alignment, message count, hide-after timer, entrance animation, fonts, sizes, and colours, so the widget can match any gothic, moonlit, or cozy-dark stream theme without touching code.
Once installed, Mycelium runs as an OBS browser source. A preview page comes built in, so you can test chat messages and alerts before going live. Settings cover chat side, text alignment, message count, and how long each message lingers before it fades.
Mycelium suits a dark fantasy, witchy, or moonlit forest stream theme, especially around Halloween and horror content. Colours, fonts, and sizes are yours to change, so the glow matches your own palette. Once you buy it, the files are yours for personal and commercial use on your own channels. Please don't resell or redistribute them.
