Raven is a hand-drawn gothic Twitch chat widget framing every message with a perched raven, moonlit accents, and real Twitch badges in StreamElements. I built it for streamers who want their chat to feel like a scene, not a status bar — something a viewer notices the moment it loads. Every badge, alert, and emote sits inside that same dark, feathered frame.

Raven is a hand-drawn gothic chat box widget for StreamElements, built around a perched raven illustration and a dark, moonlit color palette. The theme art frames every message, and real Twitch badges — subscriber, VIP, moderator, founder, Prime, and bits — sit beside each name automatically. Sub, tip, cheer, raid, and follow alerts appear inside the chat feed itself, each with its own accent color, so a raid doesn't just vanish between messages. The widget reads Twitch, 7TV, and BTTV emotes, including animated ones, and includes an ignore list and hide-commands option for tidier chat. Raven ships with 37 adjustable settings covering side, alignment, message count, hide-after timer, entrance animation, fonts, sizes, and colors. The palette shown here is a starting point, not the only option. It installs through the StreamElements widget importer and connects with just a Twitch channel name — no coding required.

Install is one click: open the StreamElements widget importer, paste your Twitch channel name, and Raven goes live with a preview page to test chat and alerts before you go live. It works as an OBS browser source too, if that's your workflow.

I designed Raven for streamers building a dark academia or horror-adjacent channel. Think Halloween streams, cozy night streams, or dark fantasy VTuber setups — anywhere a cheerful bubble chat would look out of place. Change the accent color to match your palette. It's yours for personal and commercial use on your own channel.
