Shadow Hex is a dark gothic sci-fi rank and XP overlay that turns your Twitch chat into a living progression system, with 16 ranks across 6 tiers for viewers to climb. The display shows a viewer's name, current rank and tier (like Datastream Tier II), level number, and an animated XP bar tracking progress toward the next uplink milestone. Viewers earn XP from chat messages, follows, subs, gift subs, raids, and cheers, plus a daily check-in bonus on a 20-hour cooldown, and you can enable a Channel Points reward that doubles XP for a set time. Five chat commands come built in — !rank, !xp, !level, !leaderboard, and !daily — each renamable with per-command permissions for everyone, subs, VIPs, or mods. Level-ups and rank-ups trigger animated popups, and a live leaderboard surfaces your top viewers on command. The look leans into moonlit gothic sci-fi rather than bright neon: a deep purple-black gradient, a slowly rotating hex frame around the rank badge, and soft particles drifting through the frame. Small bat and moon details sit in the corners, echoing the same glow used across the rank badge and XP bar. Every glow color, from the accent to the rare highlight, is yours to retune. Every color, size, and effect lives in the StreamElements Fields panel, so you never touch code. Swap your accent, rare, and border colors, adjust particle density from 0 to 40, and choose which corner the overlay sits in. It drops straight into OBS, Streamlabs, and StreamElements, with Twitch, 7TV, and BTTV avatar support built in. Setup takes a minute: unzip the package, add the browser source in OBS or import it into StreamElements, and paste in your Twitch channel name to connect chat XP. From there, the Fields panel handles the rest — level curve, XP rewards, and command permissions all adjust live without touching a line of code.
