About This Pack
The Void Hex overlay is an animated Twitch XP overlay that turns your chatters into ranked, leveling players with a glowing purple progression bar live. I built it around a deep, moonlit night — soft violet glow, a crescent moon accent, and a hex-shaped frame that pulses while viewers climb. Every time someone chats, subs, or raids, the display lights up with their progress.
Void Hex is an animated rank and XP progression overlay for Twitch, built as a StreamElements widget that displays a viewer's current rank, tier, and level inside a glowing purple hex frame. The system tracks progress through 16 ranks across 6 tiers, with an animated XP bar that fills as chatters earn points and a popup that celebrates every level-up and rank-up. Viewers move through the ranks by chatting, subscribing, gifting subs, raiding, cheering, and following, and a daily check-in command adds a bonus dose of XP once every 20 hours. A channel points reward can double XP for a limited time, turning a redeem into a real burst of momentum. Chat commands like !rank, !xp, !level, and !leaderboard let anyone check their standing or see the top players without leaving chat. The whole overlay stays transparent and drops straight into OBS or Streamlabs as a browser source, so it sits cleanly over any scene.
Every visual detail lives in the StreamElements Fields panel, no code required. Pick your accent, highlight, and background gradient colors, choose one of four screen corners for placement, and set the overlay to small, medium, or large. Particle density is adjustable from 0 to 40 floating specks, and you can tune how fast the glowing border travels around the frame.
Viewers can call up their own stats anytime with !rank, !xp, or !level, and pull the live leaderboard with !leaderboard. Each command works out of the box but can be renamed to match your channel's voice. Permissions are yours to set too — open to everyone, or limited to subscribers, VIPs, or mods.
Behind the scenes, you control the base XP required for level one and the growth factor that shapes the curve. Pacing can feel quick and generous, or slow and prestigious, entirely up to you. The overlay is built for Twitch and reads cleanly with 7TV and BTTV emotes already in your chat. Once it's installed, this dark, glowing corner of your stream is entirely yours to shape.
