Animated Werewolf Gothic Twitch Chat Widget Overlay

Werewolf is a gothic-themed animated chat box overlay for Twitch, wrapping every message in weathered, moonlit barn wood beneath a pale glowing full moon. I built it for streamers who want their chat to feel like part of a dark fantasy world, not a plain text box bolted onto a scene. A wolf howls quietly in the corner while names like nightshade and vesper drift across the frame.

Werewolf is a gothic chat box overlay built for StreamElements, designed around barn wood textures, claw marks, and a glowing full moon that sits behind a howling wolf silhouette. Every message appears inside the weathered wood frame, and real Twitch badges (subscriber, VIP, moderator, founder, Prime, and bits) sit beside each name so your chat stays easy to read at a glance. Sub, tip, cheer, raid, and follow alerts run inside the same chat feed, each with its own accent colour, so a $25 tip or a new raid doesn't get lost in a wall of text. Emotes from Twitch, 7TV, and BTTV all render correctly, and you can set an ignore list or hide specific commands if your chat gets noisy. With 37 settings covering side, alignment, message count, hide-after timers, entrance animation, fonts, sizes, and colours, you can reshape the whole widget to match your scene without touching code.

Setup takes about a minute. Werewolf installs straight through the StreamElements widget importer, and it connects to your channel the moment you type in your Twitch username — no API keys, no extra software. It also runs as a plain browser source in OBS, and a built-in preview page lets you test chat messages and every alert type before you ever go live.

I'm August, and I design every DigitalScenary asset myself. That's why Werewolf leans fully into its theme instead of being a generic box with a wolf logo slapped on top. Once you buy it, it's yours — use it across your own channel for personal or commercial streams, just don't resell or redistribute the files.
